Meet The Creative Team
Liia Magi

Born and raised in Tallinn, Estonia, Liia started drawing as soon as she could get her hands on a pencil. Her love of art took her across multiple countries and continents until she finally made New York City her home. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design from the Pratt Institute, and currently works as a digital designer. She is responsible for the majority of the art duties at Conviction Comics and hopes to add her unique Baltic flavor to American comics.
Juan Suarez

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in The Bronx, Juan has spent the majority of his life in New York City. He is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and holds multiple advanced degrees in psychology, including a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Suarez is responsible for the majority of the writing and editing duties at Conviction Comics. His writing style is informed by psychological theories and the multitude of cultures and artistic styles that infuse NYC.
